Cravendale milk is filtered through fine ceramic tubes to remove almost all of the bacteria before pasteurization.This filtration process makes it last longer than standard pasteurized milk.The milk is sold in opaque white plastic bottles, preventing UV rays from affecting the taste.

Cravendale don't just pasteurise the milk, they also finely filter it, making it purer for a fresher taste. And because they remove more of the bacteria that cause milk to sour, it lasts a lot longer too, according to Cravendale's page on Facebook.

Cravendale claims that it's purer so it stays fresher for longer, 7 days opened and 21 days unopened. Cravendale is also ranked 43rd in the UK's top 50 grocery brands.

Cravendale launched a UK TV campaign featuring Pirate, Cyclist and Cow, created by Wieden + Kennedy and animated by Pic Pic Andre in 2007. Then, in 2008 Cravendale relaunched the Milk Matters website, which was created in Adobe Flash with the Box2D physics engine.
